In Honduras and countries across Central America, too many girls are missing the ability to play sports - where confidence and leadership grow.
When a girl joins a sports team, she gets more than exercise. She gets a safe place to be every week, friends who count on her, a coach who knows her name, and a chance to practice the skills leaders need: setting goals, speaking up, handling a loss, and lifting up a teammate.
When she becomes a captain or a junior coach, younger girls see what’s possible. When her family cheers from the sideline, the whole community starts to see girls differently.
When girls play sports, girls lead. When girls lead, communities grow stronger.
every girl deserves a team
Many North American girls have teams and clubs, but few chances for real cultural exchange or leadership with meaningful responsibility. As Girl Ambassadors, they fundraise, train, coach, mentor, and build friendships across borders. They show Honduran girls what’s possible, and Honduran girls show them resilience, joy, and community. Both groups come home changed, and both become stronger leaders.
cultural exchange enriches lives
some of our specific goals
put more girls on the field
Reach over 200 girls in Honduras and have the funding and the support for 3 new teams playing in local leagues by 2028.
leave stronger communities behind
Train local coaches and teachers and ensure they have the equipment and funding to run programs independently throughout the year. Partner and get local pro sports teams involved at the grass roots level.
connect girls across borders
Train and send 10 Girl Ambassadors each year with a full before, during, and after-trip leadership curriculum.
spread the word & start a movement
No one person has all the answers. Together, we will grow a strong network of volunteer coaches, donors and Girl Ambassadors to start a lasting and impactful movement.
